Dork Art: Joshua Budich

Part of Spoke Art's second wave of Quentin vs Coen, artist Joshua Budich has produced one nifty 24 x 36 poster for one of my favorite Coen Brothers flicks, O Brother Where Art Thou.  No word yet when this will be available to the public, but check his website often if you want to be a Dapper Dan Man cuz this print is limited to only 100 copies.  Below are a couple other Q v C Budich images.

1st Poster for Django Unchained!?!?!?

The news of Quentin Tarantino's new finished script, Django Unchained has barely settled on the interwebs and already we have our first fan obsessed poster!  This minimalist image is the work of Artist/Graphic Designer Federico Mancosu and it does just enough to get me pitter-pattering for a QT Western...or Southern as apparently what The Man likes to call it.  Obviously, it's too darn early to get excited but as a fan of the genre I can't wait to see what the master thief does with it--flicks like Kill Bill and Inglourious Basterds have shown that Spaghetti Western glimmer, but now Tarantino can go all bugnuts crazy.

Ralph Steadman does Big Lebowski Art!?!?!?

Um, no he does not.  But artist Jon Smith channels Steadman in these three, absolutely gorgeous Big Lebowski prints for the mondo neat-o Spoke Art show Quentin vs. Coen happening April 7th-9th at the Bold Hype Gallery in Chelsea, NY.  Need Sam Elliot Bear Painting Now!

Mondo's The Whole Bloody Affair!

Badass Digest reveals Mondo Tees' poster for The New Beverly's screening of Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair and it is an absolute stunner; definitely my favorite Tyler Stout image to date.  No word yet on when they go on sale online, but you best follow @MondoTees closely to find out.

But what I really want to know is when the hell am I gonna be able to see The Whole Bloody Affair?

"Let's Go To Work." Gorgeous Reservoir Dogs Print

Holy Cow, do I love this Omar Hauksson print recently posted over at Reelizer.  They've got some really nice new additions of Death Proof and Straw Dogs, but this Reservoir Dogs...yeah, it just really struck a chord with me.  QT's first movie was also the first movie that I ever really analyzed as a Film Nerd--er Dork.  And I haven't watched it in a donkey's age.  Need to correct that stat.

Kill Fink!!! Spoke Art Tarantino/Coen Brothers Mash-Up

Those Mad Hipsters over at Spoke Art are at it again with some pretty nifty Tarantino/Coen Brothers tribute prints.  Slash Film has most of them on parade, but my favorites are definitely the Fargo Lloyd and the Kill Fink (a film that I would totally pay 20 Bucks to see in IMAX 3D).
